Dr. Joseph received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in Mechanical Engineering in 1990 as a member of the Honor's College. In 1998, she graduated from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. After exploring Pathology research and Family Medicine, she completed her residency in Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine/New York University/North General training program in New York City in 2005. She has been in practice since then. She has experience with a wide variety of mental health disorders and patient populations, including LGBTQIA+, veterans, and children, community mental health as well as private practice.
