"I wish I could show you, when you are lonely or in darkness, the astonishing light of your own being." Hafiz I strongly believe in the power of psychotherapy. Modern life is challenging and we often don't feel well-equipped to deal with the complexities. I use a sociocultural and trauma-focused lens in my work. Psychotherapy can be a very helpful and meaningful experience. With the right therapist it can be a rewarding way to learn more about yourself and your relationships with others, and can significantly improve your quality of life. I will work with you to address your specific needs and goals. Prior to opening my practice in California in 2014, I had a psychotherapy practice in Vancouver, B.C. I subsequently completed my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Widener University in Pennsylvania. I did my postdoctoral residency at Princeton University, and my predoctoral internships at Swarthmore College and the Belmont Center in Philadelphia.
