Introduction

I am passionate about helping people heal from the effects of trauma, grief, anxiety, and stress. While I cannot go back in time to change the past, I can help you heal from the pain and get back to building a life you love. The effects of trauma can reverberate long after the traumatic event is over. Traumatic experiences can cause you to worry, lose sleep, overthink, and have trouble focusing. Trauma overwhelms your ability to cope, and it can leave you feeling anxious, fearful, angry, depressed, numb, or confused. It can impact every aspect of your life, straining your relationships and affecting your ability to trust and feel safe. If you have experienced trauma or loss, you have probably tried many different ways to cope, and you might be left feeling stuck, hopeless, and defeated. You don't have to feel this way forever. Healing is possible, and you don't have to go it alone. I can help you take the first steps to reclaim your life and happiness. My approach is affirming and nonjudgmental, and I strive to create a space where you can be 100% yourself. I know it is essential to find the right fit between client and treatment approach, so I am trained in several science-backed treatments for both individuals and couples. Together, we can find the best type of therapy for you so you can heal from the past and build a meaningful path forward. Reaching out for help can be difficult, but the first step is the most important. I understand that you may have all sorts of different thoughts and feelings about starting therapy. You may have even tried therapy in the past that left you feeling dissatisfied or stuck. I welcome you to come as you are, and we can work through this together. I offer both in-person sessions in my North Raleigh office and online telehealth sessions to clients anywhere in North Carolina. I also offer a variety of treatment options, ranging from weekly therapy sessions to intensives like my 2-week PTSD treatment program. Call, email, or text me today to schedule a free, 15-minute consultation call.
