Introduction

I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. My name is Kara, and I’m a mental health therapist with a passion for supporting individuals on their unique journey to mental well-being. I believe that everyone deserves a safe, compassionate space to heal and grow, and I’m excited to meet you! With a diverse background in mental health, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including group practice, school-based environments, and as a hospital social worker. This wide range of experience has given me a deep understanding of the different challenges people face and the many ways therapy can support healing and growth. I’m especially passionate about working with kids and young adults, helping them navigate life’s challenges and supporting their mental and emotional growth. I am here to help you put the pieces of life back together, piece by piece. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Iowa, where I developed a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices. But more than my education, it’s my genuine desire to help others and my friendly, open approach that I bring to every session. I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your path toward feeling better, finding balance, and living the life you deserve.
