Are you feeling set-off by everything, easily triggered, and frustrated with everyone? Maybe it’s the opposite - you feel lonely, sad, and like no one loves you. Your grades are going in the toilet, and your parents won’t get off your back. You’re tired of fighting, and you’re exhausted by all the critical comments. You want to feel supported, cared for, and accepted by your friends and family. You need your parents to understand “It’s not the same” and “I am not you!” You need someone to HEAR you!! As the parent, you’re at your wits end, and you have no idea where to begin. Your friends and family suggest this and that, but no one is really understanding. You’re lost and confused on how to help your teen. You want answers to why they are making these decisions and isolating themselves from the family. You need the arguments to stop, and you want to see them smile again. I know asking for help is scary. It’s an uncomfortable place to be. I believe it is my role as your therapist to provide an inclusive, non-judgmental and safe environment for you to feel HEARD. As a therapist. I believe therapy is a place to be creative and grow your voice and strengthen your identity. I believe every client is courageous, they MATTER, and they have the right to their own truth. Emotions heal when they are witnessed and validated “Art is a place where you can be with your own kind, a magical place where imagination flies freely and widely.” I approach therapy with an interactive and experiential lens. I believe it is important to express your feelings and thoughts through art, sandtray, and play. Our therapy rooms are designed for that exact experience. At TAG, our staff is committed to helping you mold and shape your healing journey.
