Introduction

Hi there! I’m Kallie, and I know one size certainly does not fit all when it comes to therapy. Your needs are as unique as your personal journey, which is why I aim to meet you where you are, as you are, with an open mind and accepting heart. Therapy is for you! So, I want to truly hear you, make you feel valued, and empathetically empower you to embrace and express your most authentic self as we collaboratively nurture a full and meaningful life—whatever this means for you. I not only believe you possess the capacity for positive transformation (a belief I carry near and dear to my heart), but I also believe YOU ARE WORTHY of genuine loving-kindness, inner tranquility, and the opportunity to grow and go whichever direction fills your soul’s cup. As such, I cultivate a safe and validating space in which you can heal, change, unwind, vent, self-care, or whatever else you may need. No matter the case, you can count on a positive and supportive connection established on a foundation of empathy and genuine trust. I primarily operate from an evidence-based, emotion-focused therapy (EFT) perspective, though my integrative style and passion for creativity allow me to ensure your goals can be pursued in a manner that works specifically for you. While I am more than happy to approach the concerns of anyone ranging from teen years to late adulthood, some of my central areas of clinical focus include developmental and relationship trauma, self-compassion and mindfulness, identity and authenticity, body image and eating disorders, as well as processing and overcoming difficult emotional experiences such as anxiety, depression, grief, or shame. I acquired my undergraduate degree in psychology from UT Austin (hook ‘em horns!), and my graduate degree in clinical mental health counseling from UNT Dallas. To truly know me is to know I am nothing if not biophilic, meaning I experience a profound sense of fulfillment through connecting with nature and other living things. I believe my time is best spent outdoors, with my pups, or with my loved ones, and that sunshine and music are two of the most pure and valuable forms of medicine. As an optimist and empath by nature, I am often awed by the human ability to create, overcome, and flourish, and I love to assist others with discovering just how capable they truly are. If I have resonated with you in any way, please do not hesitate to reach out. I full-heartedly appreciate your time and consideration, and I hope to meet you soon!
