Introduction

Welcome! I earned my graduate degree in Counseling Psychology with a Child and Adolescent Counseling certificate in 2013 from Avila University. I specialize in working with individuals focused on depression, anxiety, abuse, family stressors, and self-harm. I have extensive experience working in private practice for over 7 years. I have managed and led groups for both an Intensive Outpatient Program and a Partial Hospitalization Program. I enjoy working with adolescents and their families to strengthen relationships and help them find happiness again. I am passionate about helping others succeed in their everyday lives. I have training in a range of therapeutic approaches. Through a collaborative effort, we will create a plan that includes a combination of approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems, solution-focused therapy, and EMDR (when appropriate). I am passionate about my family and enjoy spending time with my husband and two girls when I am not working. I enjoy traveling, the outdoors, and spending time at home.
