Are you feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or stuck? Are you feeling down on yourself, lonely, or unworthy? Are you experiencing relationship issues or a big life change? Are you self critical or overly concerned about other people's opinions of you? Are you ready to accept and love yourself, step into your worth, and live a more fulfilling life? Are you ready to experience satisfying relationships and be proud of yourself? If you are, I am here to walk this journey alongside you. You can live a more fulfilling life! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in D.C. and Maryland. I specialize in treating high achieving young and mid-career professionals and college and graduate school-aged individuals. I have advanced training in anxiety, body image issues, and trauma. Through our work together, we will help you freely express and explore your thoughts and emotions, or learn what these are and how to express them. Together, we will create a relationship based on trust and mutual respect in which you can grow, accomplish your goals, and establish a more balanced and fulfilling life. My clients describe my style as active, engaging, and warm. I received my MSW from The University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice. I completed my undergraduate degree at Sewanee: The University of the South in psychology and French studies. I have worked in college counseling centers for many years and received extensive training in eating disorder treatment centers at all treatment levels. Outside of private practice, I love hiking in the Tetons with my family, cooking new recipes, and playing with my dog. All of my sessions are currently held virtually through a HIPPA compliant video platform. I meet with clients weekly at a regularly scheduled time for 45 minute sessions. I am out of network with insurance, but many of my clients are reimbursed a percentage of their session fees by their insurance company through out of network benefits. To understand your coverage benefits, I recommend contacting your insurance provider with the following billing codes to learn more about the reimbursement policy for out-of-network psychotherapy: 90837 and 90834.
