Welcome! My name is Kade Hirth (they/them). I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in the state of Ohio. I have gained experience in community health and school settings working with all ages. My current work is focused with adolescent and adult populations, ages 14+, struggling with varying challenges, including depressing, anxiety, LGBTQIA+ issues, self-esteem, life transitions, and general difficulty connecting with and expressing oneself. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and Masters Degree in Social Work. In my work with clients, I utilize a person-centered approach and an understanding that there is "no one size fits all". I apply concepts from such approaches as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, DBT, Expressive Arts Therapy, Ecotherapy, and Trauma Informed Care. I was born and raised in Licking County and currently reside just across the county line in Knox County where my partner and I live on a farm with our two dogs and cat. In my spare time, you can find me wandering in the woods, making a mess with paints, or searching a thrift store for something cozy.
