Nearly everybody is affected by some form of seemingly, unmanageable challenge at some point in their life. Whatever you want to call it, our emotional struggles can make life feel unmanageable. The good thing is that you can get through it, but more importantly, you can even be better because of it! Therapy is a powerful journey and I truly enjoy helping my clients to work through their struggles. I have witnessed the positive impact that hope and compassion can have on my clients’ lives. I seek to understand all issues impacting your current challenges by building trust and creating a safe and non-judgmental environment. I have used a variety of client-centered therapeutic modalities and cater my interventions to your needs and goals, leaving you with practical skills and new insight that you can take with you between sessions and beyond. I graduated from Westmont College in 2010 with a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish and obtained my Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Chico in 2018. I have supported adolescents, adults, couples, and families through many difficult mental health, addiction and relationship related challenges. I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you and walk alongside you in whatever struggles you may be looking to overcome. When I’m not in the office, I can often be found helping my wife and three kids to find new ways to get their hands dirty. Whether it's caring for the farm animals, building a table, fixing the fence, or sowing seeds in my garden (both literally and figuratively) I love to be outside and I love to work with my hands. I also enjoy camping, hiking, beach days, paddle boarding and exploring God’s creation.
