Justin Sheets provides individualized and targeted therapy to clients in order to understand and address the emotional issues and stressors that are impacting their lives. SageMind Counseling is a small private practice focused on developing a supportive therapeutic relationship through a collaborative and nurturing approach. Therapy sessions are free of treatment limitations placed by most insurance, who tend to focus on the diagnosis rather than the individual. Therapy goals are explored through a strengths-based lens, with the understanding that you are the expert of your own life. Utilizing a variety of approaches, Justin engages clients in challenging negative self-concepts, exploring how the past impacts present behavior, and reframing beliefs about the world around them. Areas of focus include: anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, and LGBTQ+ issues. Sessions are telehealth or nature-based walk and talk therapy. Justin believes that the foundations for a healthy and balanced mindset are already within each of us; however, sometimes we need help along the way with knowing how to go about creating the life we envision for ourselves. Justin’s role is to guide you and facilitate your personal growth by providing a non-judgmental and safe environment.
