Through the therapeutic process, my intention is to assist you on a journey toward deeper self-understanding—helping you to draw out, build upon, and integrate insight into obstacles to a greater sense of wellbeing. I offer a safe, supportive, and warm atmosphere where you can freely express your thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and experiences. In this space, I will listen and engage with curiosity, sensitivity, and a genuine desire to understand your complex inner world and unique lived experience. Together, we will work to discover what hinders a deeper sense of wellbeing within yourself, your life, and your relationships. As part of this process, we will explore your personal history and its impact on you, paying particular attention to underlying narratives, themes, or patterns. Ultimately, I view therapy as a process of self-discovery that provides relief as we come to understand ourselves more deeply. As a practitioner and student of psychoanalytic therapy, I work collaboratively with my clients in identifying, understanding, and addressing the root causes of suffering—working toward their management, reduction, and release. With additional training in yoga, meditation, breathwork, and traditional Chinese medicine, I bring a holistic perspective. I earned my bachelor's degree at Yale University and am a master's student at the Institute for Clinical Social Work. I welcome individuals at all stages of life to explore the possibility of working together. If you are curious to learn more or are ready to begin this process, feel free to contact me or schedule an appointment or free consultation.
