Life doesn’t always go according to plan, and transitions, illness, and trauma are typically not anticipated. Our lives have also been radically changed by the pandemic and social injustices. You may find yourself flooded with a range of thoughts, feelings, and unfamiliar or uncomfortable behaviors. Working together, we can explore strategies to address these concerns and develop greater connection and peace. With a background in Child + Adolescent Development and Gerontology, I specialize in addressing change, challenge, and crisis across the generations. Care is often sought to address life transitions, child and adolescent development, “sandwich parenting” concerns, relationship changes, stress, anxiety, depression, harmful thoughts and behaviors, and grief. Drawing from various approaches, including CBT and EMDR, I work through the lens of “what happened to you” rather than “what’s wrong with you.” In short, I see you first, then your concerns. I have a collaborative, culturally competent approach, offering deep presence, experience, and genuine compassion.
