Introduction

Do you feel overwhelmed and that you might never heal? Are you struggling with anxiety and depression? Do you think “My trauma isn’t as bad as …..”. while continuing to struggle? Do you feel that the heaviness of grief and loss will never lift? Taking a step towards healing by working with a counselor might be the right answer for you. My passion is meeting new clients, making sure we are a good fit, and then working together to find what is best way forward for your journey. I believe that the mind and body know how to heal itself and we will work towards unlocking the healing that is inside you. Trauma has a way of keeping us trapped in thoughts, behaviors, feelings, and bodily sensations. If you want to become free from your past, there are ways to heal. By working together, we will understand your past and help you toward a brighter future. We will make sure your past is not robbing you of happiness in the now or in the future. After struggling with a traumatic event in my life I searched for a way to heal. After beginning to work with a therapist and incorporating lifestyle changes, I found myself moving towards peace and calm. I was finally sleeping again and not as overwhelmed with memories or what-if scenarios. Through this process, I discovered that it is essential to find a counselor who understood me and gave me the space to heal. With the healing that I discovered, I knew I wanted to be able to help others as well. I decided to pursue an education to prepare myself to help others heal as well. With my life experience as well as my education and training I hope to be able to be a good fit for you in your healing journey. Please contact me for a 15-20 minute consultation where we can discuss your hopes and goals of counseling.
