Hello, I am Julie Roberts Sanders — I have been a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist for over 20 years. My desire is to provide a safe, supportive environment in which you can feel seen and heard. We will explore current problems, look at any connections to personal and family history, as well as talk about what is working and how to build on that. My ultimate goal is for positive change in the present, whatever that looks like for you. Among the many issues I've worked with are – family and life transitions; family-of-origin work; depression, loss and grief; childhood abuse or neglect and PTSD; women's issues, including fertility, pregnancy and adoption issues; premarital and marital therapy; spirituality and faith development. I encourage the use of outside resources (e.g. groups, classes, creative outlets, yoga and meditation, 12-step programs, religious involvement, etc.) as part of the overall therapeutic process.
