Welcome, I know how scary it can be to reach out for help. I commend you for taking this first step. I believe it is important to understand how your past woundings can continue to negatively affect you. As a therapist I am invested in your story and will walk with you throughout your healing journey. My therapy style focuses on providing a safe place where you can tell your story without judgment. I use empathetic and reflective listening to support self-awareness and acceptance. Some of the areas I address include depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, relational problems and life transitions. I have a particular interest in working with survivors of trauma, including witnessing or experiencing violence, abuse, abandonment, rejection, spiritual abuse and complicated grief. I am passionate about continuing education and research in the areas of trauma and PTSD. I use an eclectic approach with a focus on person-centered and humanistic therapy to meet the needs of my clients. I received my education from The University of Valley Forge located in Phoenixville, PA where I achieved a BA in Counseling. I continued my education at Medaille College located in Buffalo NY where I achieved an MA in Mental Health Counseling. If you are thinking about therapy or have any questions, I invite you to reach out. I am happy to answer any questions you may have and help you get started on your healing journey.
