Psychotherapist in Private Practice Julie Iannone, LCSW
Specialties: Relationships, Couples, Individuals, Anxiety & Depression, Loss & Grief,

Introduction

Gain clarity, confidence and courage to feel empowered in your life and your relationships. You may feel stuck, helpless, afraid, angry, shutdown, anxious, or depressed. You desire change but don't know how, want to leave but are too afraid, can't decide whether to stay or go, or need support and guidance as you navigate overwhelming life transitions such as divorce, breakup, loss, or trauma. With empathy and compassion we'll focus on understanding how you feel, why you feel it, and ways to move through it. Together we'll figure out what you need and how to ask for it, set boundaries that prioritize you, and work through conflict in healthier ways. My areas of specialty are Relationships/Marriage/Divorce and Trauma/Loss/ Grief. These significant life altering experiences are also a time for incredible transformation and possibility. My personal mantra has been; "Change Begins Here". I'm a mom of two amazing teens. I'm also an avid reader and thoroughly believe we should never stop learning and growing. I'm committed to ongoing training and education to better support you and your relationships. I have specialized training in Gottman Method for Couples, Trauma & Loss, and Prolonged Grief. I'm also an adjunct professor at Rutgers University Graduate School of Social Work teaching Clinical Practice. The best way to get started is to schedule a free 15 minute phone or video chat. You can share a bit about yourself and what brings you here, and I can answer any questions you may have about the process. I look forward to meeting you!
