Introduction

Julie Williams (They/She), MA, LMFT is the Founder and Owner of Wholehearted Holistic Healing, providing psychotherapy to residents in California. They provide authentic holistic psychotherapy to trauma survivors and those looking to feel empowered. A common outcome from working with Julie is gaining greater self-awareness and self-acceptance. Receiving holistic psychotherapy from Julie can provide a meaningful impact to your life by helping you better understand yourself and treat yourself better. Julie uses a dynamic, personalized approach blending somatic and cognitive therapies. Julie specializes in helping trauma survivors who are struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD to learn paths to healing while removing unnecessary shame. This is done by a utilizing a blend of deeply listening, helping client's re-write their narrative, teaching techniques that release trauma somatically, and utilizing cognitive therapies to change negative thinking patterns. These methods often lead to clients learning to set healthy boundaries and lead more grounded lives. Julie started their career as a therapist serving young adults and college students struggling with low self-esteem, anxiety, and trauma. Julie also worked with children aged 3-17 for several years teaching children, their parents, and families the coping skills needed to increase family bonds and reinforce individual resilience. Additionally, Julie has also worked with several queer and neurodivergent people struggling with self-acceptance. If you are looking to unlearn unhelpful patterns and ways of being from childhood in order to learn a new healthier way of being; if you want to transform your relationship to yourself; if you are an adult wanting to process childhood experiences; if you are a trauma survivor wanting to re-learn independence and safety; if you are adjusting to change or are a queer person struggling with transitioning; if you are a recovering people-pleaser wanting to learn how to set boundaries and put yourself first; or if you'd just like a safe space for you or your child/teen to feel heard and understood, you are in the right place.
