I enjoy working with individuals to find inner strengths to overcome current challenges. I practice from the belief that each person has the capacity to work through life challenges, and through the counseling process they are able to learn techniques and strategies to help them navigate many of life's challenges. My focus is working with clients who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, attachment issues, and substance abuse. I incorporate different approaches to address differing needs of a client. I help individuals find empowerment in learning how to navigate mental health and wellness. I am trained in the Comprehensive Resource Model to help individuals heal from past trauma. Through counseling, individuals can learn how to approach and navigate many of life's challenges in healthy ways, foster healthier relationships with others, improve connection with self, and work towards achieving their wellness goals.
