Introduction
I am a psychotherapist specializing in the treatment of trauma and stress related disorders. I work with issues of anxiety, depression, grief, navigating life transitions, and healing the impacts of trauma. I am integrative with a mind body emphasis and approach to therapy. I believe healing happens in the context of safety, choice, compassion and connection. I am a Certified EMDR therapist and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) . I am additionally trained in Flash Technique, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal Theory (PVT) and Mindfulness. I graduated from CSU Fresno with my B.A. in Communicative Disorders and M.S. in Counseling with a Marriage and Family Therapy emphasis. In the 20 years of my professional career, I have worked in community and clinic based outpatient behavioral health, behavioral health administration, adjunct academia, on-site employee assistance programs, palliative and hospice care. I am currently in private practice. I currently offer Teletherapy serving all of California and am locally centered in the the Central San Joaquin Valley (e.g. Fresno, Kings, Tulare, Madera, and Merced Counties)
