Julia Parella, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and owner of Insightful Source Counseling. With over a decade of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of San Francisco in 2013. Julia specializes in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, acute stress, PTSD, bipolar disorder, depression, perinatal mental health, grief and loss, self-esteem challenges, and more. She has a special passion for working with first-time therapy clients, young adults, college students, mothers, and those experiencing grief. With a culturally sensitive and LGBTQIA+ affirming approach, Julia creates a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their experiences and work toward healing. Her goal is to empower individuals by reducing distressing symptoms, fostering resilience, and creating meaningful change in their lives.
