Hello! My name is Julia England. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I graduated from Arizona State University with a master’s degree in social work and a certificate in gerontology. I have worked with a variety of populations from developmentally disabled adults to adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting. I help individuals and couples recognize maladaptive patterns and develop the skills they need to help overcome life’s challenges. I support my clients by providing that sounding board we all need sometimes. I want to work with my clients to help identify and manage overwhelming emotions that maybe we have tried to block out or run away from. My ideal clients are those who are motivated to take a deep breath and work towards addressing the barriers they have in their life. My goal is to provide my clients with the tools and techniques to help support their journey. I will work with individuals and couples who are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and relationship stressors. I work with ages 6 years old and older. I draw from different therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy. It is important to me as a therapist and social worker to always be learning and keeping up to date with the latest research through reading and trainings.
