Introduction

Hello and welcome to my practice at 222 Therapy, LLC. If you are reading this then the first step is already done- You are reaching out for the help you deserve. You can do this and I can help :) I am a licensed professional clinical counselor with over 20 years of effective therapeutic experience and education in the mental health field. The issues that women face today are unlike any other time in history. If you find that you are feeling broken down, powerless, sad, angry, frustrated, hopeless, or just unable to find the strength to continue functioning well in the many roles required of you in your life, please reach out. You deserve to feel valued, heard, understood and supported. Are you struggling to find the motivation and energy to function in your daily life? Do you feel off balance and uncertain about your future? Are you feeling completely overwhelmed and burned out trying to balance the personal demands of your time and energy with everything else going on in the world? Does depression, anxiety, or unhealed emotional wounds from the past keep you from living the life you want to live? Do you need a place to talk where you feel valued, validated and supported? You deserve to feel better and therapy can help. I specialize in providing individual therapy for women struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship stress, family and parenting stress, workplace stress, burn-out, and unwanted thoughts, feelings and behavior patterns in adult life that stem from stressors, abuse, neglect or trauma experienced in childhood. How can therapy help? By using a cognitive-behavioral approach in therapy together, we will first identify, and then explore how your thoughts and feelings affect you, and then discover how these thoughts and feelings are expressed in your behaviors and interactions with others. We will identify and discover how to change negative patterns in your life by exploring where and when you first learned these. You will learn how to heal and let go of thoughts, beliefs, and patterns that don't help you experience the joy you want and deserve in life. In therapy, you can gain a deeper understanding of yourself and others, and learn effective coping strategies to improve your functioning in daily life. You deserve to feel better!
