Juli Teitler is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts with a Master's in Art Therapy, and of New York University’s Post-Master’s Certificate Program in Advanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is a Creative Arts Therapist who specializes in working with adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and self-exploration. She also has experience supporting individuals through trauma, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. Juli draws from a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to each person’s unique needs, combining creative expression with evidence-based techniques. She is trained in Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and integrates these modalities with warmth, curiosity, and clinical insight. Her approach is intuitive, collaborative, and engaged—grounded in a deep respect for each client’s lived experience and natural pace of growth. Juli has worked in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, providing trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.
