After twenty years as a middle and high-school educator, which included several years teaching in alternative education and a residential treatment facility serving youth in treatment for substance abuse, sexual reactivity, and other extreme behaviors, I have a passion for “bridging the gap” between students and family systems of various needs and circumstances. I have also worked in community mental health as a Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee and Assistant Program Director for mental health skill building services. I am especially interested in serving the family systems of individuals who tend to fall through the cracks of mental health care and education. I take a systemic approach to treatment, considering intergenerational patterns that lend to distress and conflict between family members in order to improve their systems of interactions. I am passionate about helping couples, children, individuals and families work towards being their best through building strength and self-awareness while facing the storms of life. Let me be the first call you make on your Healing, Growth and Self-Love Journey.
