Dr. Ju-Ping Huang (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Psychologist in Minnesota, specializing in psychotherapy for adults. She is dedicated to creating a collaborative and safe environment where clients can embark on their journey of healing. In this supportive space, individuals can identify their strengths and resilience while addressing their challenges. Ju-Ping’s integrated approach focuses on understanding each person’s unique needs and context, including their environment, spirituality, culture, and multiple identities. Some of Ju-Ping’s special interests include trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, health issues (such as autoimmune diseases, cancer, and chronic pain), reproductive trauma (including infertility, miscarriage, and birth trauma), cultural and racial concerns, gender identity, and sexual orientation. She incorporates principles from Mindfulness, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment to address trauma-related challenges and support healing. Additionally, Dr. Huang is trained in multicultural counseling, providing culturally responsive therapy. Ju-Ping earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She has clinical experience in diverse settings, including medical and university environments, mental health communities, and private practices. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, painting, making pottery, reading, hiking, biking, and camping.
