Introduction

Our life stories do not always have the fairy-tale endings that we hoped for, but we are not mere puppets. We are active agents in pursuit of meaningful moments and positive outcomes. As a counselor, I desire to help you find solutions to challenges in your story. I strive to provide a counseling relationship in which you can feel safe, heard, and supported. The theoretical foundations that inform my counseling include EMDR Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I am Certified in S.A.F.E. EMDR (Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR). I also have a great passion for empowering those suffering from Bipolar Disorder and complex PTSD. Education and Training: I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University. I have specialized training in Trauma. I am additionally Certified in EMDR.
