Introduction

My favorite quote says “an arrow cannot be shot forward until it is pulled back”. It teaches us that perspective is so powerful, it may cause you to focus on the setback rather than what you’re being set up for. No matter how big or small your problem is, there is a way to get through it. Through my journey as a therapist I have worked in many settings with clients of all ages and all sorts of problems. The common complaint that all of my clients have had is simple- they want to feel better. I work to understand their story, hear them without judgement and walk alongside their journey to regain hope and achieve their goals. I specialize in trauma. Trauma does not always mean PTSD. It can often be subtle and could be the core issue underlying other emotional problems. I utilize TFCBT and EMDR to address trauma. EMDR is unique and powerful as clients can resolve their emotional issues without having to “talk” out all the details by activating the brain’s natural healing process Many people are reluctant to seek help- which is completely normal- especially when they need it the most. I am here to provide a comfortable and safe environment where you are accepted for who you are. You are not alone. Reach out when you are ready to begin walking on a path of healing, aiming with hope for your future and simply start feeling better.
