I was drawn to the mental health field because of my own personal struggle with OCD earlier in my life. I understand the weight of a mental health battle. I can vividly remember the constant feeling of wanting to feel peace and a quieter mind. To feel like myself again. I finally reached a point where I was "sick and tired of being sick and tired" and I sought professional help. I wish I had done it sooner. Years of my life I struggled, but I didn't have to. I believe each individual's struggle is unique and deserving of a course of treatment that is equally unique.
