Joe Wilson began his career as an elementary and middle school educator working in Montgomery County Public Schools for 15 years. He earned his Master's Degree in Social Work from The Catholic University of America in 1995. In 1998, as the first social worker hired to lead a school-based alternative education program for 6th, 7th and 8th graders, Joe developed resources and strategies to address the needs of students who were struggling to achieve their full potential. That same year, Joe began his private practice, working with adults, adolescents, children and families in individual, couples and group counseling. In addition to private practice, Joe has worked in various agency settings providing direct services as well as overseeing the development and administration of programs and services.
