I have years of experience working as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of Vermont and relocated to beautiful SW Florida in 2020, where I was a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I graduated from the University of Vermont with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am a Board Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) from the National Board for Certified Counselors. I am also a Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator (CFMHE) through the National Board of Forensic Evaluators. My experience includes working with behavioral and externalizing youth and young adults, anger control, oppositionality/defiance/conduct issues, violence, sexualized behavior issues, parenting, as well as many other mental health needs such as anxiety and depression. I also am involved in the Lee County, FL court system and conduct court-ordered individual and family therapy/treatment, as well as other types of services and therapy. I serve on multiple boards including as the Vice President of the Family Resource Center (FRC) in Fort Myers, FL, and a board member of the Association of Family Law Professionals (AFLP). Both organizations are working to create positive change in the court system for children and families going through difficult divorces/custody issues that require court involvement.
