Hi I'm Joey Janowski, LMFT. The journey to begin therapy takes form in many different ways these days. In can be when faced with an insurmountable problem or breaking point moment. Sometimes we just have a feeling that something isn't quite right and we aren't sure where to start. Answers can lie in understanding patterns in our interpersonal relationships or uncovering buried resentment we might be carrying around. Other times it's in cultivating a sense of meaning/purpose/community in our lives. And other times it's simply figuring out what is blocking up our ability to access and experience emotion. I hope to be able to join you in figuring out what might be causing some distress, and with any luck, our conversations will become meaningful for the both of us.
