Jorgie Wu

LMFT Jorgie Wu Therapy
Specialties: Intergenerational Trauma, Burnout, Racial Identity

Introduction

I work with Asian American adults who seek to feel more self-compassionate and at ease. Many of my clients describe themselves as people-pleasing, high-achieving, and overthinking. I support people experiencing anxiety, depression, grief/loss, burn out, trauma, and existential melancholy. During sessions with me, you’ll often hear me ask, “Do you want to explore the root of that, or do you want to practice some practical tools?” I value creating space for both digging deeper and understanding root causes, while also identifying practical solutions to cope with what’s most present. Many of my clients find that after therapy with me, they’re able to hear their own voice more clearly and better navigate life’s demands and expectations. My approach is culturally sensitive, and I’m particularly attuned to second-generation immigration experiences and intergenerational wounds. It'd be an honor to come alongside you in your journey toward healing.
