I am a bilingual clinical psychologist working with linguistically and culturally diverse communities. I am passionate about the intersection of psychology, mindfulness, spirituality, and body-focused practices. My clinical work focuses on helping clients understand how multiple sources of oppression and resiliency intersect and inform their lived experience. Central to my clinical work and teaching is helping individuals and groups practice being more compassionate toward themselves and others. I believes that we transform suffering and foster wellbeing by connecting heart, body, mind, and spirit. I am a Certified Mindful Self-Compassion teacher and Certified Yoga Therapist. Additionally, I am section faculty at the Institute for Meditation & Psychotherapy Certificate Program, consultation group leader at the Self-Compassion in Psychotherapy Certificate Program, and hold a research psychologist appointment at the Providence VA.
