I am an alumni of Lipscomb University’s Marriage and Family Therapy program, graduating with high clinical honors. While pursuing my degree, I had the privilege of working as an intern therapist with the Refuge Center for Counseling, where I gained in depth training and exposure to a variety of presenting issues. I am a devout follower of Jesus, and I utilize my faith in counseling, as long as the client desires this approach. I have a personal belief that God is the ultimate healer, and that clients will experience the best results by inviting Him into their healing process. Jordanne is trained in multiple therapeutic models and primarily works with clients through the lens of Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Internal Family Systems. From a faith based standpoint, I take joy in helping clients "to put off [the] old self... to be made new in the attitude of [their] minds and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness."
