Jordan R Moore, PMHNP, FNP-BC, BSN A proud native of Mount Vernon, Ohio, Jordan brings a wealth of experience in both military service and healthcare to his role as a psychiatric and family nurse practitioner. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Army as a Military Policeman, serving on active duty from 2006 to 2012. He was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky with the 101st Airborne Division and completed two deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Following his time at Fort Campbell, he was stationed in Grafenwöhr, Germany, where his leadership and dedication were recognized with induction into the prestigious Sergeant Morales Club and the awarding of a Green to Gold Scholarship. Pursuing his passion for healthcare, Jordan attended Otterbein University, graduating cum laude with honors in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Upon graduation, he was commissioned and assigned to the 256th Combat Support Hospital (CSH), which later became the 311th Field Hospital, in the U.S. Army Reserve. Rising to the rank of Captain, he served in multiple leadership positions, including Company Commander. Continuing his commitment to service, Jordan earned his Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree from Chamberlain University in 2019 and began practicing in a private clinic in his hometown of Mount Vernon. In 2022, he joined Knox Public Health, furthering his impact on community wellness. That same year, he graduated from the University of Cincinnati as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), expanding his ability to provide comprehensive mental health care. With a unique blend of military discipline, clinical expertise, and a deep dedication to his community, Jordan is committed to delivering compassionate, holistic care to individuals and families throughout the central Ohio area.
