Introduction

Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in counseling children, teenagers, and young adults. I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2013 with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I spent the first 8 years of my career as a trauma counselor in a residential facility for children in state custody and started my private practice in January 2020. I use creative techniques to connect with my clients and practice from a foundation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I believe that the counselor and client are a team throughout the therapeutic process. Together, we set goals based on areas you'd like to change in your life. I encourage my clients to work towards goals outside of the counseling session to create action and movement toward success in their daily lives. I truly believe the counselor-client relationship is the most important piece of counseling. I strive for authentic connection and want you to see my playful, humorous, and welcoming personality as we work together! In January 2024, I expanded my practice to include Telehealth options for clients across the state of Tennessee.
