Introduction

I've been working in the mental health field for over 15 years. I've worked with a wide range of issues including but not limited to addictions, anxiety, depression, bi-polar, stress and anger management, men's issues, PTSD, work/life transitions, and couples/relationship issues. I work best with clients who feel stuck, have tried some things on their own that just haven't worked, and need that extra bit of guidance to get to where they want to be, personally and professionally. I believe in a collaborative relationship, working with the client to establish goals that are individualized, focused, and meaningful. I take a scientific, evidenced based approach, utilizing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Solution Focused, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), among others. I understand that different people come in with various ideas of what they want out of counseling. I adapt my style according to what the client wants, to create a more comfortable experience. Some want to learn more about the why, while others want skills to help them be more successful in work and relationships along with simply feeling better overall. I am currently able to see clients in Colorado and South Carolina. I can only accept insurance from Colorado clients. For SC license information: https://llr.sc.gov/TeleHealth/Counselor.html
