JONATHAN HARRISON is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation (LPC-MHSP) in the state of Tennessee. He is also recognized as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). He has postgraduate degrees in both Theology and Counseling and has been working in the field of mental health since 2005. Jonathan has been trained in various forms of psychotherapy, including but not limited to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Ego State Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). He is currently working towards becoming EMDR Certified by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). Jonathan is a Christian counselor who enjoys working with people of all walks of life and faiths, including individuals who consider themselves agnostics and atheists. He says, "I've always enjoyed listening to and helping others in their struggles, so I consider it a privilege to answer my calling as a Christian counselor." Jonathan has primarily worked with adults and adolescents and has experience conducting individual, premarital, marital, family, and group counseling for a wide-range of issues. As a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT) by the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP), one of his primary areas of expertise is helping individuals, couples and families work through issues pertaining to pornography and sexual addiction. In addition to counseling individuals and couples affected by pornography and sexual addiction, he has spoken publicly at multiple schools, universities, and churches on these topics as well as how parents and leaders can proactively help teach their children to develop a healthy biblical sexuality. On a personal note, Jonathan has been married to his lovely wife since 2002 and they have two boys together. Jonathan is deacon of the Incite Men’s Ministry at the church where he and his family attends, a role he has served in since 2014. His passion for teaching and mentoring boys and men has led to multiple speaking engagements over the years. --------------- JOSH TAYLOR began working part-time for TRMHS in November of 2023. He is currently an Instructor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences at Freed-Hardeman University and serves as the Program Coordinator for the Family Science program. Josh has earned degrees from Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies (B.B.S. in 2014, Biblical Studies), Amridge University (B.S. in 2017, Human Development), Freed-Hardeman University (M.S. in 2021, Clinical Mental Health Counseling), and Concordia University, St. Paul (M.A. in 2023, Family Science). He is currently pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of the Cumberlands. Josh has been trained to use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Ego State Therapy and incorporates both models into his work with clients. He is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE), a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), and is temporary Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Tennessee and is working towards full licensure.
