Introduction

Clark Echols is a licensed professional clinical counselor who graduated from Xavier University’s graduate program in Community Counseling in 2010. He retired from a 32 year career as a pastor. Clark’s faith encourages a heart and mind open to the goodness of the human soul, the possibility of healing mental and emotional distress, and an acceptance of every belief system. Clark is ready to work with individuals and couples using mindfulness, a variety of cognitive therapies, and spiritual development based on his professional training and life experience. Clark is working towards certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy, which gives couples in distress a path to reconnection and a deeper bonding. He is well acquainted with grief, anger, anxiety and depression. He especially wants to be of service to men with anger, addiction and PTSD issues.
