Introduction

I am a Licensed Social Worker who is passionate about helping clients from all walks of life. I realize that people have many challenges and stressors throughout life and it is important to have someone to talk to who is trained to help in an objective manner. If you need someone to help you process issues and overcome challenges, you are in the right place. I can help teach you skills to better manage anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed, and many other every day issues. The non-judgmental and supportive guidance I will provide allows you to openly express yourself without feeling on edge or overwhelmed. If you are not quite sure what you want to work on, but know that you want to feel empowered and supported in your journey towards mental health, I am here to help. In my work with clients, I also focus on how the past and present events in your life factor into current stress and challenges. This allows us to better understand ways to improve your functioning and reduce distress in a manner that works best for you, because everyone has unique needs. I have experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, grief, trauma, low self-esteem or are looking for help managing anger or stress. I work with tweens, teens, and adults. Specific therapy approaches I use include Strengths-Based Practice, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Practice, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Empowering Approaches. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing with my Goldador, and traveling around the United States.
