My name is Johanna Pule and I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and young adults. I have a special interest in working with individuals who have a history of trauma. I take an individualized, holistic approach with each of my clients, using a mind-body-spirit approach along with the creative arts, symbolism and narrative techniques to encourage the expression of feelings. I am especially skilled at working with children and adolescents who have been impacted by divorce, abuse or neglect, adoption or spent time in the foster care system. I enjoy helping individuals learn how to name their feelings, then guide and support as they establish effective coping strategies. My goal is to provide an environment, in which the client feels safe to process difficult emotions, improve self-awareness, discover individual strengths, increase self-confidence and cope with life stressors. Life does not have to be that hard. What feels impossible to do alone, is often manageable with help. I look forward to helping you and am available for night and weekend sessions.
