Joey Santos (Jose M. Santos III) is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He attended Texas Christian University and received a B.S. in Psychology. He attended graduate school at The University of Texas at Tyler and received a M.S. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology. Currently at Texas Wesleyan University working to earn a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy. Joey worked with UT Southwestern child and adolescent mood disorder research program where he researched biological and psychosocial effects of life stressors on mental health. He has worked in hospital and community clinic settings, providing counseling, skills training and psychosocial rehabilitation to children, adolescents, and adult populations. Joey has worked with a broad spectrum of mental health diagnosis including: depression, anxiety, PTSD, and psychosis in both adolescent and adult therapy settings. Joey grew up in Grand Prairie, TX. He Attended Jesuit College Preparatory School and TCU in the DFW area. He is an avid Dallas sports fan. When not at sporting events, he is usually enjoying outside activities and spending time with his wife, family, and friends.
