I value each person as an expert on their own life and strive to create a space where your unique knowledge, experience, values, goals, and autonomy are centered. I believe that a compassionate, safe, and strong relational connection is the foundation of providing a therapeutic space for clients to experience empowered growth and change. I have a warm, compassionate, client-centered approach guided by humanistic, relational, and harm-reduction philosophies. I work within a trauma-informed framework, utilizing attachment theory and somatic experiencing to support the healing process. People who are drawn to working with me experience feeling outside of the norm, feel stigmatized, have felt unwelcome in therapy, and/or are dealing with profound existential issues related to identity, relationships, trauma, and life transitions.
