Introduction

My commitment to you is to ensure you are listened to, understood, and validated in whatever you are going through. I know how important it is to feel safe, not judged and I can promise to take the time to fully understand where you are coming from. I also commit to using therapy practices that are effective and evidence based for what you are dealing with. This means I will be using types of therapy that are scientifically studied and proven to work. I want you to see results as quickly as possible. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with years of experience working with a variety of mental health needs. I have extensive experience in individual, marriage, and family therapy. My specialties include eating disorders and food/body image difficulties, all types of addictions (including food addictions), anxiety, depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder), relationship struggles, self-esteem, excessive people pleasing, dysfunctional family systems, Borderline Personality Disorder and other personality disorders, and bipolar disorder. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Structural Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. All services are telehealth which means you do not have to worry about travel time or anxiety over going to a new office. Services are self-pay. I can provide you with a superbill and you may give that to your insurance company for reimbursement. Reimbursement is up to the individual insurance company and is not guaranteed by this office.
