Behavioral health therapy Rose + Sooy Counseling
Specialties: ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Couples Counseling

Introduction

Hi, my name is Jodie and I’m a licensed therapist. I'm passionate about helping people heal and grow, bring joy into their lives, reach their goals and improve their relationships. I specialize in working with folks with anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorders, ADHD, ASD, OCD, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, women's and body-image issues, and LGBTQ+. I offer neurodiversity affirming care with a feminist lens. I help create a safe space to explore their inner thoughts, feelings, desires and fears, free of judgement. This helps my clients experience positive changes in their life as a result from their therapy experience. I believe that the outcome of therapy is most predicated on the relationship between the therapist and the client. I offer supportive, non-judgmental therapy based in evidence. I use empathy, connection, mindfulness, somatic awareness, laughter and supportive listening to guide the process of therapy. I used ACT, CBT, Mindfulness-based techniques. I would love the chance to be present for your story and help you grow and stretch into new ways of being, thinking, or acting that are more in line with who you want to be and the life that you want to live. Change is possible, you just need the tools and the support to create it. Please feel free to reach out today. I look forward to speaking with you.
