Introduction

I see you: You've been avoiding this for a long time now. You've been trying to fix "it" on your own to no avail. You are a person of faith for sure, but also realize that you could use a little more help with this issue: that's okay! Sometimes our "stuff": life's curveballs, mother/father wounds, childhood traumas, reproductive traumas, hurts, anxieties, disappointments, and/or fears-get in the way. Coping methods that used to help once-upon-a-time lose power, and we've gotta do the hard unseen work of finding new paradigms and effective strategies to navigate life differently. It can certainly be a challenge! And…I see you. I seek to meet my clients right where they are. With over a decade of experience, I lean on a trauma-informed and culturally-humble approach to support people during varying seasons of life. At the center of my practice is a commitment to self-reflection, non-judgment, and compassion. The foundation of our work together will be centered on the Word of God and helping you to reconcile the issues of your life against Biblical principles and wisdom. A one-size-fits-all approach to therapy isn't exactly my thing– instead I rely upon varying modalities and evidence-based practices to help usher everyone that I work with closer to their goals, and then we celebrate each milestone. You'll find me to be goal-oriented while at the same time client-centered and collaborative. This means that together we will work to establish goals that align with your desired focus area(s). In our work together, you will be nurtured and encouraged all while being challenged and sometimes uncomfortable. The beauty in the finish however is that God will be able to do an even greater work in and through you, because you took the time to clean your heart and renew your mind!
