I am licensed by the state of New York as a Licensed Clinical Social worker (LCSW). I have worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups seeking assistance with counseling for over 16 years. I stand true to a person-centered, holistic, solution-focused, trauma-informed care, intervention(s) that will integrate whatever is helpful for you. I prefer that you lead the way as I walk beside you and help you to identify what it is you are looking for in counseling and how I can help you get there. My focus has always been on helping people to effect the change they are looking to make via motivational approaches, cognitive behavioral interventions, person centered and solution focused interventions. I work with the belief that people are the experts in their own lives and my role is to help them find the tools, skills, and solutions they are looking for to address personal life’s challenges. I use an eclectic approach to help you find what works in your life. I specialize in treating Mental health and addictions and/or mental health complex disorders (co-occurring disorders) to include trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, parenting, gambling disorders, and parenting concerns. I specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ community, intimate partner violence, anger management, self-care, and vicarious trauma (Compassion fatigue). I also specialize doing couples counseling with LGBTQ+ couples.
