Introduction

My name is Joanmarie Nolan-Miller and I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 20 years. I attended NYU and Fairleigh Dickinson University. I have an MA in Clinical Psychology/Addictions Counseling and Post Graduate training from the Albert Ellis Institute and Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am certified in Theta Healing, Hypnotherapy and am a Life Coach and National Certified Counselor. I have worked with a myriad of patient populations in hospital inpatient settings as well as outpatient and private practice and consider it an honor and privilege to be in this field. What I hope each client comes away with, is the understanding that he/she is the master of their own destiny and that all things are possible. I no longer believe in labels, nor in determinism by genetics, environment or fate. I believe each of us is capable of great things limited only by our own thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviors - all of which are within our control and power to change if we wish. By working through old programming and limiting beliefs and making the unconscious conscious, the world is your oyster. Are you ready to love your life? Come work with me. The best is yet to be. I specialize in those presenting with symptoms of Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Low Self-Esteem, Relationship Issues, and those experiencing a Spiritual, Existential or Life Crisis. Together we will explore your belief systems using Existential and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive, Motivational-based therapeutic Interventions and discover what's keeping you stuck and holding you back from manifesting the life of your dreams. I look forward to working with you.
