I'm a Licensed Therapist in the state of Idaho and have been helping people resolve issues and improve themselves since 2006. I also have over 25-years of success helped thousands of people become a better version of themselves. I strive to be a powerful change agent by reinventing and getting people to think and feel differently. I am specialized in issues affecting men and have tailored my practice to best serve this population. I’ve tailored my approach to help breakdown the stigma surrounding men’s mental health rooted in myths, social norms, self-perception and cultural beliefs. 10.5 million men report daily symptoms of depression or anxiety. Only 1 in 4 sought professional help. Men are also more likely to die by suicide, In 2020, 3.88x more than women. Men are less likely get help, 14.5 percent of men received any mental health service in the past year. My vision is to help you overcome challenges so you can achieve your goals and live your best life. I believe many men struggle with an unhealthy relationship with themselves and others which leads to becoming generally disconnected, leading to stress, anxiety, depression, and a host of other issues. Reconnecting requires resolving potential conflicts between beliefs, thoughts, emotions and behaviors. In some cases, unprocessed or subconscious memories and emotions inhibit full awareness into this process. I believe exploring these areas provides a self-discovery process that can be both therapeutic and empowering. I take a structured active approach to therapy which still allows for therapeutic flexibility. I help to gain an understanding of the problem and its causes/roots. I believe you can’t change something you don’t understand, or leave a place you haven't arrived at. I believe you need to have a clear understanding of what you are working towards and where you are in the process. Thank you for visiting my site. I look forward to helping you become the best version of yourself. Contact me to setup a consultation and to check my availability.
